Since our formation in 1979 we have, as an owner-managed medium-sized family-owned company, been supporting our customers with reducing wear phenomena and corrosion in their plants and systems.

High-quality coating systems in a comprehensive vertical range of manufacture combined with long-standing market expertise, first-class delivery service and personal customer support have been the core of our success and have hence formed the guarantors also for the success of our customers since 1979.

The RS company history: milestones

1979: founding of RS Oberflächenmetallurgie GmbH

1984: moved into our own production premises at the present location

1999: first winner of the renowned René Wasserman Prize

2001: construction of new production facilities at location II

2009: the successors join the company management

2013: handover of the company management to the second generation
